'Werewolf By Night' was, and is, one of my favorite comic books ever! A horror fan from a young age, this '70's monster comic jumped off the racks & bewitched me with Mike Ploog's incredible artwork featuring ferocious creatures, sensual women, brooding backgrounds and everything else needed for a good scary 1970's comic book! In fact, the very first time I ever looked at the credits in a comic book was 'Werewolf By Night #17' when I immeadiately realized that this wasn't 'My' Werewolf anymore (no disrespect to artist Don Perlin who continued & finished the series in his own fashion) and that the torch had been passed to another creative team. Good times man, good times.Paul Rogershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06382011871598236011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3732808458531819052.post-1984406834329011622010-02-10T19:32:00.399-08:002010-02-10T19:32:00.399-08:00Three words: "Teen Wolf Too."Three words: "Teen Wolf Too."Matt Wieringohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01302122744904811081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3732808458531819052.post-75673056036271287172010-02-10T19:16:45.025-08:002010-02-10T19:16:45.025-08:00Two words, baby, "Teen Wolf"Two words, baby, "Teen Wolf"Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15896853636391031482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3732808458531819052.post-28170552575776769072010-02-06T19:20:51.754-08:002010-02-06T19:20:51.754-08:00The Wolfman is the "This" I was referrin...The Wolfman is the "This" I was referring to.Joshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14232826493744178897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3732808458531819052.post-90213130366246672892010-02-06T19:14:48.138-08:002010-02-06T19:14:48.138-08:00I know how you feel. Some werewolf movies actually have people turning into werewolves every night, or at will. And I'm sure you've heard of the comic book Werewolf By Night. The main character turns into a werewolf every night, not just during a full moon. We got a ton of snow here last night. And it'll probably stick around for at least a week, the snow on the ground that is.Joshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14232826493744178897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3732808458531819052.post-21778918997541191582010-02-06T17:20:35.452-08:002010-02-06T17:20:35.452-08:00Nice werewolf!
And now you got me thinking about ...Nice werewolf!

And now you got me thinking about that old Werewolf by Night series Marvel had in the 70's. Mike Ploog started it and did some beautiful stuff, but Don Perlin took over, and though his stuff wasn't as dynamic, damn if it wasn't atmospheric! Good stuff from back when Marvel was putting out some of its best stuff ever.Warrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05863327737967527942noreply@blogger.com
