A while back, a moderator on the Michael Slade messageboard (at www.specialx.net) started an artwork thread. He asked posters to take famous works of art and alter them so they were comic book themed. I was working late (waiting, basically) and thought I'd take a stab at it to kill some time. This image is what I came up with. Sadly, mine was the only contribution but everyone seemed to like it. I thought I'd post it here since this is turning out to be a mostly comics-related blog. Hope you like it.

Ha! Love it! Nicely done, if I do say so myself. Pity there weren't more entries. This could have proved interesting.
